US actor Matt Damon has copped more social media backlash after saying people are not talking enough about the majority of men not involved in sexual misconduct.
Damon - the 47-year-old star of Good Will Hunting and The Bourne Identity series - spoke about the current sexual harassment climate while promoting his new movie, Downsizing.
"We're in this watershed moment and it's great, but I think one thing that's not being talked about is there are a whole s***load of guys – the preponderance of men I've worked with – who don't do this kind of thing and whose lives aren't going to be affected," he told Business Insider.
The latest remarks followed up controversial comments last week when Damon was asked to discuss the current climate around sexual harassment allegations during an interview with US network ABC's Popcorn.
During the interview, Damon condemned sexual misconduct, but Milano took aim after he said there was "a spectrum of behaviour".
"And we're going to have to figure - you know, there's a difference between, you know, patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation, right?," Damon said.
"Both of those behaviours need to be confronted and eradicated without question, but they shouldn't be conflated, right?"
Former Charmed star Milano appeared to take aim at Damon's 'culture of outrage' remarks.
"Dear Matt Damon, It's the micro that makes the macro," she wrote on Twitter.
"We are in a "culture of outrage" because the magnitude of rage is, in fact, overtly outrageous. And it is righteous.
"We are not outraged because someone grabbed our asses in a picture. We are outraged because we were made to feel this was normal.
"We are outraged because we have been gaslighted. We are outraged because we were silenced for so long."
Actor and former co-star in Good Will Hunting, Minnie Driver, also took aim at his comments claiming men don't seem to understand what "abuse" is like on a daily level.
