Collingwood stars Jordan De Goey and Darcy Moore will look to prove their fitness for Saturday's AFL clash with Fremantle but midfielder Taylor Adams' groin injury will keep him sidelined until after the Magpies' mid-season bye.

De Goey (shin) and Moore (ankle) both missed games against Sydney and St Kilda over the past fortnight but are a chance to return when the Pies host the Dockers at the MCG.

The pair will undergo fitness tests on Thursday, along with towering ruck-forward Mason Cox who has not played since round six with a niggling ankle injury.

Adams had been considered a chance to face the Swans last week but has suffered a setback which will keep him out of action until at least round 14.

"Taylor is still a little bit tender, particularly on the stretch, with that adductor," Magpies football boss Geoff Walsh said on Tuesday.

"We'd expect to see Taylor post-bye now. We'll see how that next 10 or 15 days go."

Luckless forward Jamie Elliott will also be re-assessed after the Magpies' round 13 bye, having recently suffered another hamstring injury.

Key defender Tom Langdon will not require surgery on his injured knee but is listed as four to five weeks away from playing.

The second-placed Pies will be looking for their eighth straight win when they host the Dockers, before taking on Melbourne in the Queen's Birthday clash.
