Apple iPhone users will soon have another emoji to use, with a hijab emoji due later in the year.

The 'woman with headscarf' emoji has been previewed by Apple as part of new additional images that also includes a breastfeeding woman, a bearded person and a person meditating.

Reactions to the announcement were mixed, with some users welcoming it as long overdue.
But others questioned the decision.

Some just wanted to know if future releases would include an even wider range of emoji images.
