Social media history puts US 'debate darling' Ken Bone's character in question

Once the toast of many Americans following his appearance at the second US presidential debate last week, Ken Bone has shared some not-so-kosher opinions on social media.

Ken bone shot to fame in the days following the second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, with many taking to social media to compliment his fashion choices and general aura.

But, his fame may be short lived after users of the website Reddit revealed some questionable past posts.

Mr Bone's post history on the site included several comments about the bodies of females in several images, and also a confession that he once forged documents documents to make it appear that he had car insurance for his job as a pizza delivery man.
Another post that raised eyebrows was one about the controversial killing of black man Trayvon Martin – an act he referred to as "justified" – and also called Martin’s gunman George Zimmerman, a "big ole shit bird".

Since the debate, Mr Bone has seen his Twitter friends’ list rise from around 20 to more than 240,000.

His future commitments include a promotional deal with Uber and an appearance on popular talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! Following the third, and last, debate on October 19.

He asked one question about energy during the debate.

Facebook fan page was created, while a petition called on him to be given his own star on the St Louis Walk of Fame.
