Award-winning actress Uma Thurman has hinted she was a victim of sexual harassment as she slammed disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein in an Instagram post on Thanksgiving Day.

The Kill Bill star wrote a post with the hashtag reading, "Me Too", and wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving.

"I am grateful today, to be alive, for all those I love, and for all those who have the courage to stand up for others," Thurman said.

"I said I was angry recently, and I have a few reasons, #metoo, in case you couldn't tell by the look on my face.

"I feel it's important to take your time, be fair, be exact, so... Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! (Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators - I'm glad it's going slowly - you don't deserve a bullet)."
The statement comes a few week after the actress was first questioned about sexual harassment by Access Hollywood.

With the post, Thurman, a Golden Globe winner, also uploaded a photo of her in character as The Bride' in Kill Bill staring down the lens.

Ms Thurman did not name a perpetrator of the suggested sexual misconduct she alluded to.
The message was delivered to half a million followers and was liked more than 34,000 times.

Weinstein has been the centre of several sexual harassment accusations from public figures over the last couple of months.

The #MeToo campaign started on Twitter in mid-October with an aim for women around the world to denounce harassment and abuse.
