Social media ban for under 16 introduced

The federal government has introduced its legislation to ban children under the age of 16 from using social media. Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat all face the ban but Youtube and Whatsapp have been excluded. The bill proposes fines of up to 50 million dollars to be slapped on social media companies.
