Both the men's and women's teams have been renamed and will sport new black and green racing kits adorned with the BikeExchange logo.

BikeExchange have stepped up from longtime partners to naming rights sponsor, team chairman Darach McQuaid confirming the news in a statement ahead of the new season.

“With a challenging 2020 behind us, GreenEdge Cycling is pleased to announce our new Team BikeExchange identity and brand for the 2021 season,” McQuaid said. “GreenEdge Cycling has enjoyed tremendous success at the highest level of cycling over the last decade.

In 2021, with BikeExchange as our new naming partner sponsor, we head into our 10th season full of ambition and hungry for more success.”
The online marketplace began its partnership with GreenEdge in 2015, and CEO Mark Watkin expressed his pleasure to have made the move to become naming rights sponsor.

“BikeExchange has always been proud of the long partnership with GreenEdge over the journey of the team,” Watkin said. “The team tackled the challenging environment and the changed calendar of racing in 2020 with some standout results across both the Men’s and Women’s Teams. We are looking forward to supporting and seeing Team BikeExchange succeed in 2021.”

Along with the rebrand, the riders are set to change to Bianchi bikes for the upcoming season after racing on Scott bikes since 2012.

The GreenEdge men's team lost Adam Yates and Daryl Impey in the offseason but are bolstered by the return of Michael Matthews, whilst the women's team lost Annemiek van Vleuten to Movistar have added Teniel Campbell.
