The Australian contingent for the 2025 Dakar got off to a very strong start, headlined by Daniel 'Chucky" Sanders taking out the Prologue in the bike category. Toby Hederics and Andrew Houlihan performed solidly in Rally 2 and Malle Moto respectively, whilst Peter and Christopher Schey got their Classic Dakar campaign off to a positive start. And Toby Price's transition to cars went better than expected with an 11th place result, finishing ahead of some more fancied runners.
