If there's one person on this Earth equipped to take on the coronavirus outbreak, it's supermodel and straight-up hygiene icon Naomi Campbell, who has been preaching a very arduous air travel routine since mid last year.

In a vlog shared on YouTube in July of 2019, Campbell, who travels in first-class, said: “No matter what plane you take, private or commercial, as the plane descends, people start coughing and sneezing."

She explained: “I just can’t. This is my protection from peoples coughing and sneezing.

“I mean, as much as I travel, I should get sick so much more with colds and stuff and I’m blessed that I don’t, and I really think that this helps me, my little routine.”

The protection she's referring to includes wiping down her entire first-class seat with antibacterial wipes, all while wearing a surgical mask and rubber gloves. It might've seemed a little over-the-top at the time, but who's laughing now?
Since the outbreak of coronavirus, the model has upped her game. According to Page Six, Campbell rocked up to a flight from Los Angeles to New York City earlier this week wearing a full hazmat suit, along with surgical mask and pink latex gloves.

Not to mention the CAPE.

Social media users were quick to take notice.

"I’m screaming," tweeted award-winning author and poet Saeed Jones.

"Naomi Campbell was BORN ready for this crisis. She did not come to play with you viral heauxes. KNOW HER."

Another Twitter user wrote: "Naomi Campbell WILL defeat the coronavirus."

So there you have it. While not all heroes wear capes, I guess some really do.
