Cher explains the meaning behind her iconic tweets

Queer icon, pop music legend and show-stealing cameo actress - there's no doubt that Cher wears many (fabulous) hats.

But in recent years it's been the star's turn as the queen of social media that's had people talking, sharing her seemingly unedited social and political commentary via a ferociously funny Twitter feed.

Now the singer is offering fans unprecedented insight into her tweeting, er, process - visiting Twitter HQ to record a segment of their Behind The Tweets program.

"Some of them are meaningless and I can't tell you anything about them," she concedes to viewers.
When asked what she means when tweeting that she's not a big "Cher Fan", the star said: "I like doing stuff, but I'm not necessarily interested in watching myself do anything."

"Or listening," she adds.
