Australian drag queen Courtney Act continues on her trajectory to world domination, landing another TV show.

Act, who recently signed on to host her own late night talk show, will host a new bisexual dating show for E! Entertainment called The Bi Life.

Featuring contestants who identify as bisexual, pansexual and sexually fluid, the program will be shot in Barcelona, Spain.
Following the announcement, Act wrote: "As if this summer hasn’t been hot enough, we decided to crank it up another notch with The Bi Life on E!"

She continued: "It’s high time there was a dating show for the large number of young people today, like me, who are attracted to more than one gender."

Act said positive representation for bisexual people was long overdue.

"In 2018 we know that sexuality is fluid and sharing the stories and experiences, the laughter and the love making, of young bi people is so important."
She added: "So get ready to see the true stories of bisexual singles. [They] are the largest part of the LGBTQ+ community, but the least known."

Lee Raftery, managing director UK & Emerging Markets and chief marketing & content officer, NBC Universal International, said The Bi Life marked a "pivotal" moment for the genre of dating reality television.

"This new commission is a pivotal point for E! Entertainment Television in the UK as we bring a fresh take on the full diversity of modern British relationships," he said.

"We are incredibly excited to be introducing this pioneering series to our audiences in the UK and Ireland."

Having appeared on Australian Idol in 2004, Courtney Act made the final three on RuPaul's Drag Race, before winning Celebrity Big Brother in the UK earlier this year.
