Ok, so 2018 may not be off to an ENTIRELY terrible start. The good news of the day is that beautiful treasure Ellen Page casually announced she and her longtime partner, Emma Portner got married!

Posting to Instagram, Page captioned a photo of the pair's now ringed-up fingers saying "Can’t believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife".
Portner also shared the image along with a few others of the couple, sharing a similar sentiment.
Portner works at the Broadway Dance Center where she teaches contemporary jazz and has also worked with Justin Bieber. According to the studio's website, her performance and choreography appeared in both Bieber's Life is Worth Living video and on his Purpose tour.

The pair routinely uploads videos to social media dancing together which, if you haven't seen, is probably the cutest thing ever.
Page publicly came out at the Human Rights Campaign's Time to Thrive conference in 2014 when she was 26, telling the audience, "I am here today because I am gay.

"I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years because I was scared to be out. My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationships suffered. And I'm standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of all that pain."

Page and Portner's announcement was met with an avalanche of love, from Lucy Lawless to PETA, the newlyweds were met with congratulations from all over.
