Lizzo arrived purse-first at the red carpet for today's American Music Awards - but, in typical Lizzo style, she wasn't carrying much baggage.

The 31-year-old singer and rapper posed for the paparazzi while wearing a stunning one-shouldered mini dress and the smallest, shiniest Valentino purse ever.

“There’s only three in the world,” Lizzo told interviewers of her miniature accessory.

When asked what was in the tiny bag, the award-winning artist channelled her inner Mary Poppins: “I got tampons in here, a flask of tequila, condoms,” she said.
The star, who is nominated for Best New Artist, Soul/R&B Song of the Year and Soul/R&B Female Artist of the Year, shared photos of the bag on Instagram, describing it as "big enough for my f**ks to give".

Naturally, this caption soon birthed a fun new meme, with social media users flooding Twitter with things big enough to fit into her Valentino purse.

"Finally, a purse that matches my bank account." One person tweeted.

"Lizzo showed up holding a purse the size of my self confidence," another wrote.

Lizzo is having a real moment this year. Having sold out her Australian tour dates in record time last week, the 'Juice' singer is still celebrating a mammoth eight Grammy nominations.
