Not all of the highlights from this week's MTV Video Music Awards unfolded onstage - just ask Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness.
The personal grooming expert was left star-struck backstage following the award ceremony when he met Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner for the first time - spinning 180-degrees while covering his mouth in shock.
As the adorable pair embraced, JVN began whispering excitedly in a clear expression of mutual admiration.
“So happy for your ending,” he told Turner of Sansa's conclusion on Game of Thrones.
He added: “Oh my God, I was so relieved. It was the only one I could stomach.”
Turner then called out for her husband, Joe Jonas, introducing him to JVN. The whole moment was really very cute.
"I’m more happy for @SophieT and @jvn than I’ve ever been for myself," one Twitter user wrote, sharing the video.
"This is the purest thing to happen today," another added.
Honestly, talk about friendship goals - not least because JVN is currently campaigning to win his parody series Gay of Thrones an Emmy Award.
