Queer Eye design specialist Bobby Berk has given back to his community in the cutest way possible, officiating three same-sex weddings during New York City's Pride parade last weekend.
The member of Netflix's revamped 'Fab Five' told Out magazine that same-sex marriage was a cause very close to his heart.
"My husband and I have been married for six years, we got married as soon as it was legal to get married and we were married by a friend who was ordained," he said.
He added: "I thought this was a great way to give back to our community."
The initiative was thanks to a partnership with ride-share app Lyft.
"I never thought that I was going to be able to be married," Berk said.
"My husband and I have been together for 14 years and we thought that we would be life partners, so there’s a lot of pride in that."
He continued: “We’ve been shut out and discriminated against our whole lives, so we have the opportunity to take control of our situation and welcome everyone.
"That’s what I want to show the world, pride through this expression of love."
Photographer Kelly Balch, who took the wedding portraits on the day, shared one of her favourite snaps on social media.
"Yesterday was pretty incredible, and definitely one for the books!" she wrote on Instagram.
She added: "Thank you @lyft for putting on 3 incredible weddings, to the couples and their love, for @bobbyberk being one of the best and funnest officiants."
The second season of Queer Eye is streaming now on Netflix.
