In a previous 'Bombshells' issue, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy shared a kiss, but now it's been confirmed that they're a couple.

DC Comic gals Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy first became friends when they embarked on a crime spree together in a 1993 episode of Batman: The Animated Series.

But according to the Advocate, they’ll be taking their relationship to the next level in DC Comics: Bombshells #79, as part of a series that depicts popular DC Universe characters as 1940s pinup heroes.
When previously asked by a fan about the pair’s relationship status, DC Comics tweeted that they were “girlfriends without the jealousy of monogamy”.

So far there’s been a mixed response to the new couple on Twitter:
So far there's no word if their romance will make it into the movies, but we'd love to see DC bring some LGBT+ representation to the silver screen.
