Season 3 of 'RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars' has been confirmed

VH1 has confirmed that the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars is in the works and is set to hit screens in early 2018.

“The world is calling out to see more of these beautiful queens and I am going to give them every bit of it they can handle,” said Ru Paul of the announcement.

“All Stars represent the best of the breasts, legs, and thighs. They are giving everything and you’re not going to want to miss it!”
The season 3 contestants haven’t been announced yet but they'll be vying for a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame alongside previous winners Alaska and Chad Michaels.

“The massive swell of new and longtime fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race is nothing short of incredible," said Pamela Post from VH1.

"We are motivated now more than ever to ensure Drag Race remains a shining example of inclusion and community, as well as fierce fashions and legendary lip-syncs.”

It’s the first time VH1 has hosted the All Stars series which was previously aired on Logo. 

Fans of the show have been celebrating the return of the show on Twitter.
RuPaul’s Drag Race scored an impressive eight Emmy nominations last month—and is up for Outstanding Reality Competition Program as well as nods for makeup, hairstyling, costumes, casting and editing.
