SBS Voices was launched in 2018 as a platform for emerging writers from backgrounds traditionally under-represented in the media.
To everyone who has shared their stories over that time, and to the organisations who have been integral partners, thank you for making SBS Voices a unique, vibrant and welcoming space for all Australians.
From June 2023, SBS Voices is no longer commissioning new content.
The SBS Voices site continues to be available at sbs.com.au/voices, showcasing the diversity of pieces and writers that have been published.
SBS also continues its commitment to providing opportunities and supporting career pathways for historically under-represented voices in the screen sector. This includes a range of industry initiatives and programs supporting more inclusive storytelling on screen, alongside its Commissioning Equity & Inclusion Guidelines. Learn more here.
