Ever since Adam Rippon’s show-stopping harness at last year’s Academy Awards, men appear to be taking their red carpet looks a little more seriously - and about time!

Opting out of the more tradition black and white tux, the men of Hollywood appear to be favouring more expressive outfits at today’s Oscars.

And, well, the internet is here for it.

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman and If Beale Street Could Talk actor Stephen James were quick to win praise on social media for their looks. Boseman's SEQUINS were a definite winner with Twitter punters.
Director Spike Lee raised more than a few eyebrows with his all-purple outfit, paying homage to his iconic film Do The Right Thing.
The Favourite actor Nicholas Hoult challenged the norm with a wrap-around Dior number
But the real show-stealer came in the form of Pose actor Billy Porter and his incredible Christian Siriano blazer gown, which just about broke the internet.
Hopefully these looks are a sign of things to come!
