Coinciding with International Women's Day, the trailer has just dropped for Mindy Kaling's highly anticipated new movie Late Night - and it already has the internet fist-pumping.

The comedy, which co-stars Emma Thompson, was a crowd-pleasing hit at Sundance earlier this year and follows the story of Molly (Mindy Kaling) as she tries to rescue a prominent late-night talk-show hosted by Katherine Newbury (Emma Thompson).
The trailer sees Kaling and Thompson become an unlikely power duo, with the opening of the trailer starting with Thompson firing male writer after male writer.

Safe to say, people are pumped.
The movie, which was written and produced by Kaling, made history at the prestigious Sundance film festival earlier this year when Amazon forked out over $13 million for distribution rights - the largest amount ever paid for a US-wide release deal.

To make matters even better, the film was directed by Indian American filmmaker Nisha Ganatra.
