The winner of MasterChef Italia, Antonio Lorenzon, took home more than just a title and some cash - he landed himself a fiancé, too.

And even though the moving videos haven't been translated into English, they just go to show that love has no language - because we're reaching for the tissues regardless.

"I still don't believe it," Lorenzo tweeted following his win.

"Thanks everyone for the support. It was wonderful."

The 43-year-old chef then tweeted a photo of him on one knee, proposing to his partner, Daniel, alongside a diamond ring emoji.
Sharing the proposal video on Twitter, the official MasterChef Italia account wrote: "We are WITHOUT WORDS."

It added: "LOVE TRIUMPHS ON #MasterChefIt."
