Samantha Bee asks a pastor if Donald Trump is going to Heaven

Maybe we'll finally get some answers around here...

He would call it fake news, but Donald Trump has done a lot of stuff that might keep him out of heaven.

Between the pussy grabbing and the harassment allegations and making fun of a disabled reporter and the constant lying, you’d think that, at the very least, his application would be seriously vetted.

Of course, a big part of the cruel irony that is his presidency is that he claims to be extremely religious. The Bible is his favourite book, apparently – he’s partial to “Two Corinthians,” a verse that doesn’t exist. He believes in God, but he’s never asked God for forgiveness, which seems like a big part of the reason you would believe in God.

Utterly flummoxed by the sway he holds on the religious right, Samantha Bee visits AR Bernard, the New York evangelical pastor who quit Trump’s evangelical advisory board, and asks, point blank…

“Is Donald Trump going to Heaven?”

Did Bernard say “Of course. Everyone gets into Heaven no matter what. There are no rules"?

Or did he say “Nope. He’s going to burn for eternity”?

To find out, you’ll have to watch the Full Frontal episode tonight at 8pm on SBS VICELAND or SBS On Demand:
