This year marks the 115th Laxmi Jayanti, honoring the legacy of Nepali poet, playwright, and novelist Laxmi Prasad Devkota. On 26 October, the Nepali community gathered in Sydney to remember and celebrate his contributions to literature. Prakash Paudel, President of the International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) NSW, spoke with SBS Nepali about the event and the community's active role in promoting Nepali literature and cultural heritage in Australia.
