ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਏ ਟੀ ਐਮ ਸਕਿਮਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਚਲਦਿਆਂ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਨਸ਼ਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਤਫਤੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਪੇਨਸਵਿਲ, ਵਿਕਟੋਰੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ 22 ਤੋਂ 26 ਜੂਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਏ ਟੀ ਐਮ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਗੁਪਤ ਉਪਕਰਣ ਲਾਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਏ ਟੀ ਐਮ ਸਕਿਮਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਚੋਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਰਡ ਨੰਬਰ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, 1 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੀ ਗਈ ਦੱਸੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਵਿਕਟੋਰੀਆ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਿਲਸਿਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਭਾਰਤੀ-ਖਿੱਤੇ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਏ ਟੀ ਐਮ ਸਕਿਮਿੰਗ ਉਪਕਰਨ ਫਿੱਟ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਪੇਨਸਵਿਲ ਏ ਟੀ ਐਮ ਦੇ ਆਸਪਾਸ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

Victoria Police have released images and CCTV footage of two men they believe can assist with their investigation into a series of ATM skimming* incidents.
Police says that a skimming device was placed on an ATM in The Esplanade in Paynesville between 22-26 June.
The card information obtained was then used at numerous ATM’s in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne on 1 July.
Police have confirmed that two males who are perceived to be of Indian Sub-Continental appearance were seen in the vicinity when skimming occurred.
The first male is described as 170cm tall, approximately 35-40-years-old with a shaved head.
The second man is described as 180cm tall, approximately 30-years-old, with short dark curly hair.
Victoria Police is seeking public’s help in identifying these men. They’re urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report to www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
Police have also reminded ATM customers to cover the keypad when using an ATM to protect their personal information.
*‘Skimming’ is a type of fraud which occurs when an ATM is compromised by a surreptitious surveillance equipment for stealing users' card number and pin code.
