Indu Balachandran: A Tamil woman achieving victory in her maiden Election

In the recent local government elections in New South Wales, 17 Tamil candidates participated. Among them, Indu Balachandran, an independent candidate in the Ku-ring-gai constituency’s Gordon Ward, celebrated a remarkable victory in her first election.
