How many people in Australia have been vaccinated against COVID-19?

While Australia entered 2022 with almost 92 per cent of the population aged over 16 double vaccinated against COVID-19, the national rollout has not been without its challenges.

First, the federal government struggled to get its hands on vaccines. Then, there were changes to the advice around the AstraZeneca vaccine. There have also been multiple timeline revisions, hold-ups for priority groups, and the bringing forward of booster shots to deal with outbreaks.

But where are we at now?
